This is a ritual known as 'azhimuri' which is performed as a part of thirayattam.... Here the Deity climbs the 'azhi' and breaks it..... I think this ritual is very very rare.... Its taken from a kavu in Vatakara. Does any one know the similar ritual performed any where?
